CFC Adds 2 New Services

Infringement Management

Organisations such as car rental companies, leasing & fleet management and fleet operators exercise the option of having numerous vehicles registered at their business address.  This practice attracts some convenience through centralisation but also brings additional responsibilities and burdens.  The biggest of all the burdens relates to the processing of infringements.

Infringements generally relate to unpaid motorway tolls, parking and speeding penalties.  The proliferation of speeding cameras and the current unrelated suppliers of tollways in Sydney has only further exacerbated the problem.

CFC has listened to the needs of many Clients and designed a service that takes away the inconvenience and demands of this non-productive activity.  The Infringement Management Service (IMS) is simple to use and is based on the principle of user pays on a fee for service. Fundamental is the client’s authority for CFC to act for and on their behalf.  This is a national service appropriate in all States of Australia.

Breakdowncare

Corporate Fleet Control (CFC) is renowned for its diligent and reliable 24/7 Australia wide provision of service in the sphere of motor accidents and fleet support.· Breakdowncare was born as a result of CFC always being there to help when others failed to deliver. CFC now has approximately 25,000 units utilising the Breakdowncare service across Australia.

The beauty of this service is that it has a very low monthly fee and then combines manufacturer breakdown services with the many at cost services available on our database. It essentially is a user pays service meaning that cost is only incurred when service is needed.

The other very convenient aspect is that it is the only service of its kind that integrates with the CFC Accident Management Service and in many instances can dovetail into the fleet and lease management maintenance systems of most suppliers.

Another differentiating feature is its emphasis on commercial vehicles, especially heavy haulage units, with the bulk of the fleet being passenger or light commercial units.

The service is all accessed through the one INCIDENT HOTLINE 1800 817 406 leading to the key point. The reason that this service is so effective and comforting is the CFC philosophy of being problem solvers rather than processers. We have total flexibility and therefore can do whatever is required using the philosophy of  “get the driver out of trouble and we can sort out the costs later”.

Information & Techology Enhancements

CFC is in the midst of some major technological enhancements. Recently we had the release of CONSSOL which is an integrated and consolidated solution to communication between all parties involved in all aspects of our business structure. CONSSOL has application for repairers as CFC’s Director of Operations, Joanne Wilkinson believes “it offers greater flexibility for repairers for storage of emails, claim forms, estimates, digital images, assessments and invoices which can be printed, stored, emailed and downloaded into other applications”. From the brief glimpse we have had it leaves the other products behind including “Estimage”.

Assessors also have the same access to view and assessor all relevant jobs.

This same CONSSOL application can be viewed also from a lessors/managers perspective and also a client's perspective. This type of web based access gives clients real time viewing and access to all relevant jobs. It provides complete transperancy to a client without having to do any of the work and has totally revolutionised many companies handling of accidents.

CONSSOL has also been extended for Roadside Breakdown as well as Infringement Management and this information can be integrated with accident data to provide a complete picture of driver behaviour.  "This development can provide some very interesting but somewhat predictable correlations", states Phil Harrowell, CFC’s Director of Sales & Marketing.

Prior to year end, CFC will launch a tailored database solution powered by Microsoft's sequel server database engine which will provide even greater stability, flexibility and capacity for new business.

The future looks very exciting.

CFC Mixes it with the best

For the eighth year, CFC will be present at the Risk Management Institute of Australia Conference (RMIA) at stand 27. This year it is being held from 16th to 19th November 2008 in Perth at the Exhibition Buildings.

CFC Representatives Phil Harrowell and Geoff Redshaw will be manning the stand and are available for any discussion, questions or ideas.

In CFC's Risk Management, AS/NZS 4360 is the core structure upon which our own business is managed but we have the added benefit of being able to apply these principles to our clients and their motor fleet for their own benefit.

If you are attending please feel welcome to visit our stand. As usual we will be running our infamous dart competition with a $300 winner take all cash prize. See you there.
