As founding Directors of Corporate Fleet Control in 1993, Phil Harrowell and Joanne Wilkinson brought to the organisation a great wealth of experience and talent. This experience has led to a change in services offered by fleet companies and has contributed to improved standards in the smash repair industry.

Phil Harrowell – Director of Sales and Marketing

Phil graduated from UNSW with Honours in Applied Science. This led him to working with Readymix and then Boral, in Sales and Marketing roles. Moving to the fleet industry, firstly with Budget Lease Management as Marketing Manager and then JMJ Fleet Management as Director of Sales, Phil has gained invaluable knowledge of the industry. While in Fleet Management, Phil recognised the potential for a national repair service for businesses that have employees nationwide. He knew it was a service not yet on offer from fleet companies to corporate clients. He was also aware of how costly the repair process was for companies, and how much time was lost with staff handling them in-house.

The accident management model that Joanne and Phil developed, progressed to incorporate an increasing number of services supported by accident reporting software.

Joanne Wilkinson – Director of Operations

Before jointly establishing CFC in 1993, Joanne specialised for ten years in Information Technology.  Over that time, Joanne held the position of Marketing Manager with Osborne Computer Corporation and Customer Operations Manager with Digital Equipment Corporation.  In addition, Joanne ran her own business developing software training programs for a range of public and private sector clients in Australia.

Joanne has motor vehicle industry repair and insurance claims handling experience from managing a major fleet motor vehicle repair facility.  In this role, Joanne implemented higher standards of quality of service for customers.  It is Joanne's direct industry experience linked with Joanne's IT program expertise that led to the development of CFC's current information systems and operations.

 

Phil and Joanne have retained a high level of hands-on involvement in the business in order to maintain a high level of commitment to the client.  A motivated and experienced team offering professional sales advice, responsive customer service, qualified Risk Management and assessment, flexible in-house information technology and innovative administrative solutions, supports them.
